Due to law changes on 1.7.2018 Training Stage Feedback Period and Advanced Stage course were replaced by a new course called Risk Awareness Training which is compulsory for all new drivers in Finland.

Course overview

Risk awareness training develops the driver's ability to identify traffic hazards and control the vehicle in demanding conditions.

Theory 4 × 45 min

Theory lessons in class in Pasila or virtually

Urban driving

One driving lesson in urban traffic (50 min)

Open road

One driving lesson in open roads (50 min)

Slippery track

One driving lesson in difficult road conditions (slippery track) (50min)

Night driving

One lesson driving in darkness in the simulator (50 min)
